I agree...but, it can always go the other way. Momentum is a very good thing, sitting out for a week or so without that intensity is sometimes not.

I think the Cavs will win in 6

Lakers in 6

Lakers take the Cavs in 7

Cavs over the Magic in 5.
Cavs over the Lakers in 6.

Let's remember that the Cavs are very well rested, have not lost a single game yet, and have won all of them by double-digits.

But lets do recall they play in the East and haven't played a good team yet.

I know this is SO cliche, but I really do think, on paper, and if (IF!!??) they show up, the Lakers are currently the best...Cavs need another yr, maybe one or two more players.

But, one guy can almost do it...

Cavs have one thing that LA does not have this year if both teams make the finals..home court, and like the Celts of last year...IF they get to the finals...thats an If....home court is huge!
Cleveland is a well rounded team...Yes Lebron is a freak of nature and is Most of time, unstoppable.Orlando counts on 3's too much. Not good playoff Basketball.Cavs are a defensive Monster and in sports,Defense wins ball games and Championships.Should be great Bball for next few weeks!

Home court is huge for Cleveland. They were 39-2 at home this year. They were 1-2 vs. the Magic in the regular season -- but the home team won every game. On the other hand, they were 0-2 against the Lakers (one home, one away). Should be some great basketball.

That is an excellent point, primarily because they are SO good there, and it just happens, the Lakers can sooooo SUCK when they don't show up, and that is usu at an away game.

Yep, should be good!

I like the Cavs enough to make it easier too--GAWD how bad it was to ever lose to DETROIT or the Celts...almost died.

Yeah, I like Howard, BUT I hadn't realized how much they rely on the 3's!

He really doesn't have the low post off moves I thought that he did...great D, and rebound, but needs some more off moves...

Superman has no moves down low yet....the Cavs will not 2x team him either..they cant with the Orlando guards hoisting three's from Everywhere....he is very one dimensional(right now)thats not to say he wont be a "shot maker" in the future..Right now its one move.

If the O are not hitting from the outside....they are in for a short series...

Wheww! I like these predictions...

I hope, just hope that Bynum is finally coming around, and that Odum is feeling better, and that Pau finally stays focused as he was yesterday...

But, even with that, I would also like the bench to come together rather than just one or the other have an occas good game.

Having rooted for so many teams so many years, I have often had one that could be inconsistent, BUT never have the Lakers been so utterly capable of falling apart, playing soft, etc.

As Kenny & Chuckster say, this really is the instance in which you say to yourself, "on paper, there is no contest...if they all play as they can/should/etc, they are clearly the best" (at least I think it's clear, factoring in bench, etc.), BUT you know in your heart they could lose big time...

Scary.

As Kenny and Chuck also said, why not play like they want it? I understand why Chuck is pissed with them for the lackluster effort.

Yep; for his part, I think that Kobe is doing okay with it all, but so surprised at how each of the other individuals can just completely go south...was looking at Walton's +/- and he has been really bad at times...Fisher too.
